- The fruits are large, black, spherical, covered with a light gray wax coating, with dark juice. The berries have a pleasant taste, ripen simultaneously, the yield is high. It enters the fruiting period early.
- The bush is compact, reaches a height of 1 to 2.5 m. It grows quickly, the annual increase is 0.3-0.5 m. The stems are erect. Dark green leaves turn purple and red in autumn.
- Unpretentious, any soil is suitable, although it grows best on rich sandy loams and light loams. It gives the best fruits in sunny areas. Resistant to pests and fungal diseases, tolerates transplanting well. High frost resistance.

- Large-fruited variety of German selection. One of the most frost-resistant varieties of chokeberry.
- The bush is upright, relatively small, reaches a height of about 2 meters, forms a compact crown, is characterized by rapid growth.
- The berries are flat-rounded, large, reach a weight of 1-1.5 grams, blue-black, collected in dense clusters, do not crumble. The taste is excellent, reminiscent of prunes, with almost no astringency.

- A Finnish selection variety. A bush with numerous erect shoots, slightly hanging down with age, forms numerous root shoots, reaches a height of 1-1.5 m and a width of 1.5-2 m, and can be formed as a tree if desired.
- The fruits are purple-black, flat-round, flattened on the sides, 0.8-0.9 cm long, 0.7-0.8 cm in diameter, collected in bunches, edible, sweet and refreshing, with a slight bitter taste.
- The plant is very undemanding, easily adapts, grows both in deep wet and dry, sandy soils.
